Were you able to talk to them about the pump? Anything new that we should know about?

Just that they fixed some problems and made it better. I'm hoping to get a full season out of it.

That is good to know. I have always liked the FatBoy. I've tried others and always came back though I have noticed some things I have to keep an eye on I didn't have to before. I'll order these for the new build. Thanks for checking into that!

I quit with the Fat Boy. I had one that lasted about a month or so, then stuck another one in and the bolts sheared off after about a month. The company had a problem and did not back up the product. Shameful.
I can't go back. If they can sell me faulty pumps and not care then I have no use for the entire company.

I had a problem with the head. I emailed PW Mall. I not only got a reply but a phone call as well. I was supposed to send in the head but before I could, a new pump arrived from Delavan. I didn't ask questions. Except for minor issues I can deal with I have been happy with FatBoys. I'm surprised you didn't get better service.

I've been using PT's fat boys the last year. The first one I couldn't kill. The second one worked like S hit. That's why I'm trying this new pump

That's the Versijet branded for Powerwash Store, I guess? These are what came in my dual pump system. I've got one that started leaking a little after about 4 months but still works. I haven't tried to figure out why yet. I just switched to the other one. They are good for roof cleaning and good for 95% of the houses I wash. When I switch from 12v to downstream it's because I've got a third story to hit.

Do you see anything different? I can't see from the picture.
I haven't matched it up to the old one yet. The Relay looks different or bigger.

Maybe we won't have to cut it off for the solenoid.
I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.

Yes my son will be DS I am setting up a PP for direct applying in case he needs a stronger mix of back up pump.

I currently use FB 7 GPM 100 PSI. What I do when the pump head wears out is order a replacement head from the manufacturer. I replace the head and reuse the motor. It saves me some money.

Art, maybe you can try it out spraying deicing solution on roofs and walkways when you plow😊

I buy mine from Agri-Supply. They are guaranteed for a year. When it goes bad I take it back and get a new one.

From Delavan: • 2 Year warranty from date of purchase
If you buy a spare pump for backup it could difficult if you take care of the pump, get it to last and sit through winter. Also, from my discussion with PW Mall when I had an issue, if there are any signs of bleach the warranty is void. The odd thing is, I got a replacement pump from Delevan w/o returning the pump.

I spoke to Dan, He just said they upgraded some parts. He did say bleach voids the warranted. But when a Spoke to Delavan last year he said 2 years no matter what. When the pump go's I think I will fill the head with Pinalen max and send it back, then see what happens.

I cleaned up mine really good and was ready to send it but then the replacement arrived, thanks to PW Mall.

Just installed a FB3 to use with my ProPortioner. So far it seems a lot stronger than the VersaJet I've been using. Sprays great. Cycles more often than the VersaJet.
