What's the question / issue?
We have some pricing already for basic 5x8 size that should fit everyone's vehicle.
How many members can commit to purchasing?

The thread about the video ended up discussing the sticker and is not where it needs to be. I think a separate thread is a good idea. Who knows... the lurkers might step up!

We need about 10 members to jump in here. Then we divide the cost among us for the Sticker. Each of us who chip in get an equal amount of stickers. We can sell them as members want them for $5 bucks apiece down the road as members want them.

I'd like to see the total before someone pulls the trigger. I want to be a part of this but don't see how spending $50-$70 on stickers is going to help my business.
UPrinting.com had much better pricing. 4 mil vinyl with UV coating order 25 was about 30-40. I like to by quality products too but we're talking about sticker. Just my 2 cents

I'd buy one but I don't think the stars and stripes would help generate sales as people would think I'm pulling a fast one using an American logo.

I'm in. I think we're reading too much into this. It's not just about bringing you new business. It's a tool like your other tools. "I'm a member of the Chamber" "I'm a member of the NSWA which is a professional.........." They see the NSWA sticker and don't care but they recognize it when you say it.
It's a tool to help add validity to who you are and your commitment to the industry. No one will care if you don't tell them.

Agreed. but i dont need to spend $70 to do so.
If 10 people commit and we order 250. thats 25 stickers per person equal to $50 plus shipping
then ill have 23 stickers left over in a drawer somewhere.

Right...I didn't understand we needed enough to split the entire printing bill. I would be in for whatever I need to be, then...but would rather it not be $70.

I said I was all in as one of the ten to try and give back here a little bit, its the least I can do. Art and a couple guys have their hands full here, everyday weeding out this and that. I hear you on 70 bucks and left overs in a draw, If you cant do 70 bucks team up with someone and do 35....take what you need and let the site sell the rest and put it towards monthly operating cost.......

I will check the prices I posted, with my guy, and see if we need to order those as a minimum. I have ordered one sticker from him in the past, for a reasonable price. He charges per square inch, so the more we order, the cost per square inch goes down. I think the 18x18 might be a little big, but I would do some 12 X 12 for my trucks possibly.
I think what I really need to know is:
- How many does everyone want?? (Looks like we are starting to get a count on this, but not everyone has chimed in)
- Is everyone looking for just the 5x8 one???
I will take 10/each 5 X 8 and I might do 8 or 10 12X12, two for each truck. Depends on what everyone wants.
Also, people do not need to order more stickers than they want, just to split the cost. If you only want a few, just say so. I will take the total number and go with it. Also, do not look at this as a way to generate more business. Look at this as a way to support your favorite community site and just another selling point, when doing your sales pitch to a customer. If you use the community board, like you should, and post jobs and blog entries, your potential customers can be directed to the site. It only legitimizes your company more and shows you have a vested interest in the business. Just my 2 cents

OK we got a $200 donation from Eric Schnaible for the forum and to do as we want with it.
I'm in for $50
What can you guys give and we can go from there
We can divide the stickers by the amount you give and you can sell them as members want then if you buy extra
We are half way there, Stop with the Negatives

Good points John. I do have a question. If stickers are 5x8 the the others are equal... 10x10, 12x12, 18x18? Looking at the logo it seems that it needs to be wider than tall. Thinking of room on trucks, something like 10x8 would be big enough. I start to lose room and it gets overpowering as it gets bigger.
BTW... I'm in for $50 for 6 stickers. I think we are going to have enough to order a bunch.

ot from that. With that being said I would like to donate $100 to the NSWA. It can be used for whatever you guys feel needed. I wanted to get in earlier for the website maintenance and then for the video. Hopefully this can help with the stickers. I can send it directly to John or wherever needed. Please let me know, and Thank you.
