Every now and then I get bored. TV sucks, Facebook sucks, etc. I take a look at All Users and find the lurkers on page one, two and three. Some I get, others I don't. A few of the lurkers are takers only while others are not sure of what to say.
The NSWA is not a clique. We welcome discussion as longs as it is civil. We want input from everyone. That is how this forum works and why it will ALWAYS be better than ANY Facebook page full of newbies wanting to be spoon fed. If all you want is to take from what is posted there is little we can do but notice you! If you don't want to get involved, then how can you help your business thrive and survive. We are in this together!

That is too bad! Seldom do I go through a week without learning something and it's not always from the seasoned veteran.

Exactly. We learn even when someone asks a "stupid question"....So ask, read, provide your experience even if its from a single job and it was your mamma's house. We can all learn from each other and if you want to learn this business don't hide in the shadows.

When you're real young you think you know it all.
When you're really OLD you think you know it all.
When you're in the middle and question yourself you're in the sweet spot!

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years.

There is so much to learn and read here and I still learn from here every day. NSWA is a very welcoming place and the lurkers need to know that this place is a great place to not only learn but to participate

I lurked around here for a while. I'm just an introverted kind of person.
When I finally got up enough courage to introduce myself I was overwhelmed with the warm welcome!
I can't say enough good things about you all...I now feel like I belong here

Philip, your success was probably due to your avatar choice. It says, "pull up a chair and have a pint, let's chat"... Who wouldn't want a guy like that around?
