An apartment complex I take care of bought another complex that needs work. I gave them the quote in the fall and got the call today to clean out the gutters, clean the roofs, wash the siding and clean the pool deck.
Also, we sent out the spring post cards like we did last year to all of our customers. 750 cards cost about 50 cents a piece, turn key from Vista Print. We were in the black with just two calls and have added 5 more today.
That is a nice big complex to start off your season right. You sent post cards to existing customers only, or new prospects as well?

Yes. I think it's 18 buildings. The best part is I don't bid!
I only send cards to my customer base. They are cheap and always returns a quick profit. Each year my customers get to see the company name again but not in an email.

When I started I thought stuff like this was out of my reach. Over the past five years I put many hours into building relationships with property managers and an apartment association group. Many morning breakfasts, after hours get togethers, visits to offices, etc. My point is anyone here can do this, especially for the properties that are managed locally.
