Hank - I plan on heading up to there to the Martin guitar factory this summer. I'll holler at you in advance. Maybe we could meet for lunch or something.

I don't think I've played a D-40, but the J-40 is a long-time favorite of mine. Don't know if you knew this already, but this is my other business (http://parrisguitars.com). I've pretty much got a guitar in my hands every day when I'm not washing.

That's awesome! I do seem to recall reading somewhere that you were a luthier. Work interferes with my guitar playin' more than I care for these days, but ya make hay while the sun is shining. Sorry for the hijack Mario and Hank!

Hey Bryan,..I'm not into guitars and instruments in general,..the only thing I can play is the radio. But I checked out your site because it's there. Looks like you have a pretty cool thing going there. Always nice when you can make money doing something you love,.and also gives much experience by dealing with so many different issues the public brings in to your shop.

Jeff. Yeah as is with most businesses like that it started by accident. It's nice to be able to provide a service like that. I get about 200 guitars a year to work on.

Bryan, do you or Ted ever attend the guitar builders conference. The one that's coming up in June, first week I believe? It's usually up around Frederick, MD., I don't know where it's being held this year, but if you are interested my good friend is going, I'll ask him. He's a guitar builder and is taking some super sweet quarter sawn tops to sell.

It's funny to see my worlds colliding here. haha. I've never been to that conference. I don't really build much but do all types of repairs.
