aloha guys any suggestions on cleaning this wood? It's african or teak. Customer wants us to re-stain. Should I treat with mix then sand and what type of stain is required for exotic woods.
I would let it dry for at least 5 days especially if it humid or damp and of course start all over if it gets rained on.
I like Rymar Stains. That have something for just about everything to include exotic wood. You can get it at Sherwin-Williams.

hand scrub preferably
2:Lightly pressure wash to get all residual stain and hydroxide out
3:neutralize and brighten with oxalic acid, rinse and let THOROUGHLY dry. May be 2-3 days.
4:stain with a non film forming stain specifically made for that type of hardwood, "ironwoods"
I'd ask a wood expert the exact type of wood it is
