This is about a 75 square building. The roof had lots of black mold on it. There were up there blasting away in the rain. Tomorrow I will drive by and get a after pic.

Just one rogue lightning bolt and... 🤣

Sorry, that was out of line.
But really, is it worth the risk when many of these pw guys are charging 10-15 cents a sq/ft?

WOW. That looks like it will take forever to clean the roof like that and its pretty good pitch to be walking around on a wet roof.
I'd like to know why you didn't get it.

We had a local company who proudly posted the husband and wife both using a pressure washer about 8" off the surface of the roof on their facebook post. Normally, I would not have posted on the page, but they said they were using a 'softwashing" method.
We have worked hard for 8 years to define what softwashing is and why it is superior. So, we chose to further the education of those who saw the posting... This company boasted that they were a Home Advisor go to company.
It disappeared.
I just visited their web page and while not showing the picture of them blasting the shingles, the after shot shows so clearly how much granule loss happened.
I feel bad for the uneducated homeowner who will be replacing the roof way sooner than they expected.
