"About $400 for a years worth of golf course scorecard advertising. Money is tight, business is minimal, would you do it?"
How many people can say no? How many actually know it really doesn't work?
Sixty-five without counting the sub remarks. Everyone thinks they have to put in their two cents. BS

I get those calls every week. Usually it's golf courses. Today it was football calendars. No thanks.
You know...I think my business is doing better since I stopped following those groups.

For me it's always an Arizona number. Same answer every year. No.

Every now and then I graze because I might see something unusual or a notification someone posted who just might have something interesting to say. Most of the time when I open one of these groups I walk away... .
I so agree Bryan! Also, if people are so busy where the hell does all that time on FB come from. We are in the middle of winter and have so much going on in the office I would only waste my time with FB. I want to get all the systems (old and new) in order and finish truck two so we are completely ready for the best year ever for exterior cleaning businesses!

I have to say that I have been doing a lot of reading this winter because I have literally been following the DR's orders of resting (and getting fat) after rotator cuff surgery. Your right Brett, it didn't take long for me to figure out that a lot of these FB groups are loaded with a bunch of self consumed BSers that have an opinion and you know what they say about opinions..... They're like a**holes.... everybody has one.

Sometimes you can learn something new on the FB forums. If I don't see any use of a certain post or subject I just move on. Have to keep it in the back of your mind to always keep moving forward

I made a post about lovely Yelp as a test. To me, the way they do people with their hard sales calls and $300.00 per month fee for basically nothing, is important. It happened just as I thought. Few likes and few comments but... drum roll please... Lee's post about the cheap customer keeps on going like the Energizer bunny! My grazing, like Brian, is only looking for something that can be helpful.

I couldn't agree more about most of the FB groups...Where in the heck do some of these "great & successful" business owners get so much time to go back and forth about basically nothing? As with anything there are some that genuinely are there to help (Ramon B) but IMO a lot are full of malarkey & self absorbed, and the vendors, OMG..... I won't even go on about that... It is truly rare to have such a unique and vendor free resource for great knowledge, from business owners that have earned respect for their hard earned experiences and offer good solid real time support as the NWSA offers.
A simple post,
