I always use Bing Maps for estimating purposes. Well my phone started to ring this past week and I haven't logged on to Bing maps since December. The Birds eye view is gone.

Been like that since sept, oct? They state on coder forums that they are updating and replacing images but think something else is up.
Normally they would keep images up untill they can fully roll out a new working platform
Wonder if its gonna be a "premium" pay service.

Yeah, that was a nice feature. Saved me a lot of gas driving out to look at properties. The Google satellite view is not very helpful.

Bing was never very helpful to me in my neck of the woods. I rely on Google and realtor sites, appraiser pics etc.

I was also getting alot of Customers that wanted to send pictures of there house and roofs. They we're definitely in a rush to get prices and it also seemed like I used Bing maps less this year. But I do always like to view it in birds eye view to make sure

Seems like customers send the worst pictures. Oh geez lady, thank you for that sweet picture of half your roof!

If the customer offers to send the pictures I say I need a picture of the front and the back as well as both sides.

I noticed Bing a few weeks ago. I use Google Earth Pro but there are times when the birds eye view can really help.

I think I'm getting old because I don't like change. I did like the birds eye view the best and it worked great
