I need to purchase a new reel and water hose for maintaining water in the buffer tank. I did read some existing threads but would like to ask for some fresh insight. I don't require a motorized reel just old school hand crank. Please tell me what you recommend these days for:
Water hose reel make, model, capacity
Water hose make, model, size and length
Also which vendor do you believe to have the best price?
Thanks!

I use the liberty hose reel like Brett and some other guys use. Right now i just use 120 ft. of Sam's club 5/8" hose, but my next hose will probably be the 3/4" Flexzilla because of the good reviews I see on it.
If i get 3/4" hose, i will probably just use the reel for storage because of the restriction in the swivel. Eventually i might get one of the reels that have larger swivels like the Titan that pressure washer products sells.
What is the size of the swivel on the Liberty. My Titan is 1/2” and I’m satisfied that’s a restriction.

Flexzilla is what we use too. I keep 250' on the truck. We have homeowners comment on our hoses all the time. I could probably sell them!

The swivel is 1/2". The only think I do is replace O rings on the soft wash reel from time to time and maybe once every 18 months on the water reel. I still have and use the original reel I bought in 2010. I did change the galvanized T on the soft wash reel to schedule 80 plastic.
With some care and maintenance, these reels last and can take the abuse.
"Give me Liberty or give me..." Well let's not get extreme. Give me the Liberty hose reel and Flexzilla. Thanks guys. I'm on Amazon now ordering the materials.

I used that reel all last year for my water hose and it worked great. I went with cheap good year hose from HD on my third year with it
