Does anybody have a kill switch in their buffer tank when the water levels get dangerously low. I had that problem once last year were I ran out of water and ran my pump dry. The feeling I had almost killed me when I found out. I was definitely more observant of the water after that. I was thinking of installing one of these to take the stress away.

I have a 275 gal IBC tote. I have learned that we have some weak wells around here and when I get on a real dirty house, they have a hard time keeping up with my 8gpm machine. I like to come to the job with at least 100gal of water to get started.

I actually found this idea from him. I think he just had it on the bottom.

Does one need to worry about another point of leakage especially on the bottom of the tank, or not that concerned because it is just water?

I don't concern myself with additional water leakage but Customers don't like seeing there water wasted on the driveway.
