Yesterday I received a message on FB. Wow, maybe it's because I'm old and was raised differently but I would never do this.
Thomas Hoodman:
hi Dave, I found your company from the national softwash alliance forum and was wondering if you ever got that pressure switch and isolator setup for your booster pump?
Blue Ridge Exterior Cleaning
My name is Brett. Are you a member of NSWA?
Thomas
I apologize! I was doing a bunch at once and knew a Dave Thompson previously so I must've just typed it by habit.
I'm not a member of anything, I was just browsing looking for information on building a booster set up
Blue Ridge Exterior Cleaning
I don't mind helping people but we put a lot of work into the forum and contributing members help each other. Join NSWA and you will reap many benefits from many who have 10 - 20 years experience. To answer your question... I have just been way to busy to keep working on it.
Thomas
I appreciate it. I don’t think I’ll be able to be on the forums much but it’s good to know the resource is out there. Take care.

Hey Brett,.Chris Tucker said this YEARS ago,..He, stated: "This is insanity",...Meaning, he seen the boards morphing away from the original purpose,..which was many of us getting together to exchange ideas,..then it began a free for all for start-ups,..to experiment with,..because hey, why not,..we provided everything they needed to try something new. Not sure who had the first locked down board, but Chris had one,.and so did Don Phelps,..now gone I believe.
*It was always said that it makes for a better industry to give everything away and teach,..I don't buy that,..never did. All it does is put a bunch of knuckleheads into the business because as I said,..it's the "why not factor". They have to do little work to get started. You can't teach work ethic. Years ago it was people who started with the idea and then learned,..not finding it by chance and saying,..I think I'll give er' a go.
With that said,..I don't care if the board gets locked down or not,..there's already so much info out there not sure it matters anymore.

We are locked down pretty good here Jeff, not many get in. We delete more new members because they don't fill out their profile. We also screen every new member that wants in. We Check Emails, Ip's, Websites and anything else we can com up with to trace the new member. Thats why our membership is so low.

Sorry Brett. Been pretty consumed with the business over the last 2 weeks to post anything meaningful. I am trying to make sure we are a 100% ready to go when the season officially kicks off.

I'm always 100% ready,...and 100% of the time something odd happens within the first few hours, Ha, Ha,..
*Last year the Honda GX630 shut down after about 1/2 hour,...first thought low oil,..trailer was leaning a little and didn't really think that was it. Added oil,..no go,..then fuel pump went through my mind,..I switched fuel pumps,..I always have one with me, no go,...ended up being faulty low oil switch. And I found it a few minutes after thinking about it,..had happened before on a previous engine. Was an easy fix.

Jeff what I meant was equipment and everything else.

Hey Mike,..yea,.I know that's what you meant,.and equipment is what I was referring to, Ha, Ha,...Seems like something odd happens even after months of preparation and maintenance. Just like the low oil sending unit I mentioned,..nothing there really to maintain,..and an unforeseen issue.
I usually start with work that is close to home and also if possible no one home,..Summer rentals, realtors etc,...Nice for running the first time and see what happens,..and no one looking.

Lurkers can't see most of the posts here. Even if they become a member they can't see On-the -Side unless we let them in
