Making my introduction... Hey, guys! My name is Duke. I'm down in GA., and I'm in the process of starting a soft wash company. I am brand new on the site, and to SW. I should be up and running within the month. My company is called Blue Cord SoftWash LLC. The name is in reference to my military service. When an Infantryman graduates Infantry School, he is issued a blue cord to wear on the right shoulder of the dress uniform. Anyway, my REAL goal is to employ combat arms veterans; SW is just my catalyst for doing so. I spent almost three years unemployed, while everyone screamed they supported veterans. Overseas, Infantrymen do things that most will never comprehend, and I'm not referring to just combat, but enormous decisions that have to be made in that moment, and often by kids in their 20's. So when you come home and can't find a job bc of lack of 'experience', depression sets in. You once filled VERY important roles, once made decisions (sometimes as a kid) that most adults will never ever be faced with, and now you can't even get a respectable job. I honestly took a job literally shoveling dog $h!t at a german shepard farm, bc I couldn't find anything else. Anyway, I decided to stop waiting on all this support I kept hearing about, and become a supporter; so, I am starting Blue Cord SoftWash LLC. to employ veterans, specifically combat arms veterans, in hopes that I can help some of these guys out of the seemingly dark endless hole I found myself in. There was a campaign to raise awareness for veteran suicide in which people were doing 22 push ups a day, to represent the 22 veterans a day who commit suicide, but you can do 1k pushups a day, and you won't change a single thing. If you REALLY care to help prevent veteran suicide, employ veterans. Give them a purpose again. Trust me, I know bc I've been there. Anyway, I know that got really deep really fast; I apologize haha. Just wanted to get my name and mission out there. I look forward to learning all I can from you guys. Thank you in advance for all the help I'll be asking for!
