I am switching to FlexTech RT this season for roof mix. Any input from anyone on this hose. I mentioned it before due to the Kuri-Tec not seeming as good as the first few runs I had? So,..any experience with the FlexTech?
I have been using Kuri Tec Supply hose for years. I am convinced the inner wall breaks down with small cracks. Whenever we rinse out the hose the soap never stops so we never rinse any homes although we should be able to. I wanted to go back to poly braided but I cannot find the soft poly hose I used in my early years. I ordered some after being told it was flexible down to 40 degrees. It's been in my office for two days and will be returned. Bottom line... I'm looking for something different.

I called the manufacturer on Friday and finally got a call back from a very help man, John Miller. He knew what he was talking about and surprisingly, he understood soft washing. He sent me an email with some distributors who are somewhat close by. John said the RT hose has been working well for soft washing and is flexible. I will be getting in touch with them today.
The RT hose comes in black, blue, red, and green. It can be ordered with and w/o end fittings. I prefer w/o!

I'm pretty sure I have the same issue w an old kuri tech. Always seems to be soap in the line even after flushing for a long while. It is old tho and is getting replaced along with everything else this winter.

I'm hoping to give FlexTech a try, but I haven't had the best luck with suppliers. John sent me a list of suppliers. One I called said they were not FlexTech distributors and said FlexTech must be buying their hose and tried to sell me hose at a pretty good price, for him! The other one I called was a great guy and big help but he cannot order any hose unless he gets two spools, 1000 ft. I need 500 and the price is fair but he doesn't want to bring in another 500 ft to only sit on it. I'm still working on this and hope to figure something out by the first week of January, at the latest.

I would be good for 250 to 300 feet if someone else wants to go in

Let's see where this goes. When I spoke to the supplier, Jeff in NC he is more than willing to work with us on this. I completely understand him not wanting to sit on hundreds of feet of hose. Keeping 250 - 500 in stock after we start buying it isn't such a big deal.

I'm not sure art but I'm probably going air this year and I think I could use the leftover hose for some other plumbing stuff and maybe a portable softwash system

I have always kept 250' on the hose reels and at one time had 300'. At 250' we have never had an issue.

Is anyone thinking about giving the Flex-Tech a try? So far it's just Erik and me. I'm working with a sales guy at Felx-Tech to see what we can do to get the hose. The more the merrier!

You use 5/8" ID? Wow, you work harder than I want to!
I just got a call from Brian at Midwest Washing Equipment 371-695-7543. He is a distributor for Flex-Tech. We had a nice conversation. Hose Site

Yes, I'm definitely switching to the Flex-Tech this season. I use 1/2" x 200' (RED),..I prefer one SS316 end in 3/8" so I can use quick coupler for my "Trigger". I am planning on purchasing from pressurewasherproducts.com at this point. If a better deal is to be had a may be interested,...but I want everything to be proper to my needs and cost. PWP has always seemed to be the place I buy my low PSI chemical hose.

This is the hose I been using. Work great and much more flex to it. https://shop.pressurewasherproducts.com/1-2-X-300-BLUE-FLEX-TECH-SOFTWASH-HOSE-1-2MPT-316-SS-CRIMPED-FTB08-30008S.htm
I will be using it this coming season.

Red works. I went with blue because I still use a red rinse garden hose. https://www.factorydirecthose.com/collections/garden-hose/products/mean-green-12-x-50-ft-yellow
Always have liked the mean green hoses but can be hard to get anymore. Real light weight.
