Are you guys using a strainer at the end of your pickup tube for the soap tank? Does it restrict flow?

Our soap tanks sit on the side. Never had anything but a straight hose to the mixing valves.
Here's a video from the 2017 build. A bit has changed since. Fast forwardF to 3:27 to see what I did with the soap.

With check valves and/or solenoids: I use both,..so filtering everything would be "ideal".
Every now and then I will get a small piece of debris stuck in the solenoid I use for DS'ing. So when trying to rinse with low PSI nozzle it will still draw a very small amount of mi PITA,..happened around 5 times last season,..an easy fix,..I simply shut soap and SH off and turn water on,.. (AKA) "rinse out mode",... and flush water through for a minute or so and it clears the solenoid out,...and then I'm back in action. More aggravating than time consuming.
If a large enough piece of debris gets stuck in the check valve, it won't allow it to work as it should,..allowing potential cross contamination,.as .in my case last years a couple times,........ an overflowing soap tank.
Point is,..if you can filter do so,...every little thing helps,...As long as it doesn't create more work,...SH is nearly impossible to put much of a filter on,...although,..I do use the common hose end strainer on the SH. It does strain somewhat,.but it doesn't strain the very smallest of bits that can get hung up in check valves or solenoids. For the soap,..I bought an inline strainer from McMaster -Carr that is all plastic,...but NOT SH proof. Anytime you put a filter inline,..you have to make sure it is compatible with whatever you're using,...you don't want the filter to crumble apart inside and actually become the debris.
*Also,..restricting flow on the soap side isn't a big deal,..it is turned down to such a minimum to begin with,.that a more restriction is an easy fix,..just turn the valve open a little more.

I made a schedule 80 PVC strainer for my DS line this year. My DS line goes into straight 12.5% and stays submerged the whole season,...I've used the common black plastic hose strainers,..but I notice that the bottom falls off,..rendering the filter useless. My DS tank is same as my roof tank.
