It looks like we will start working on the new/used truck some time next week. I'm going to set this up with products from Midwest. The pump is stainless steel and polypropylene with a pressure switch. The mixing valve has a second soap port and is just $100.00 more than what the parts cost to build one. I'll get new flex tech hose for all three trucks. A marathon build since we have just a few weeks left but really, I think I have two months because we have new crews to put together and March is always a slow start.

The best part of this business Brett,..rigging!
Over the years,..I've focused more and more on "bullet proofing" the best I can,...there will ALWAYS be failures to some degree,...keeping them light and field repairable is always the best goal one can hope to achieve. Regular maintenance and replacing things before they go bad is something I've grown used to to.

Brett, if I can help in any way just call or text.
I'm finding the most difficult part of the entire build was trying to make decisions on what equipment to go with. There is so many different Brands, options and price points and shipping charges.
Another slowdown was trying to source specialty fittings. I'll go to assemble something and realize I have to order a certain fitting and it stops me from progressing.
If I was to do it over. I could probably put the whole thing together in a few days but lose a lot of time debating on things like layout and equipment.
Sprayer depot has free shipping on electric hose reels. Everyone else wanted freight charges

Hey Erik,..I recently posted a simple and cheap alternative to ($50-$60) hose reel swivels,...when you need to replace,... just use a basic 3/8" male and female coupler and a 90 degree elbow. The 3/8" female coupler will spin on the male fitting working just like a hose reel swivel,..I apply regular grease to the male end. They don't go bad doing this,..and the only thing to replace is the o-ring,...using Viton I only replaced 2 last season.
I usually pull out the hose I need,..and never have to count on them being HP swivels.
Even if I did,..I just open a valve that I use for easy starting the PW engine,..relieving the pressure on the hose. I use this valve everytime I start the engine,.allows the engine to start without the unloader wanting to "load up". But if I needed to pull more hose,..it would also work for that.

I agree with Jeff. Staying ahead of breakdowns may waste a few parts, but it's cheaper and far less hassle than field troubles.
