It has prob already been asked somewhere. Mine has already been made, prob going to go on the trailer this weekend? Think I have everything figured out??? One thing isnt though? Once its all put together and stuff... gonna use it the first time... what do I set the knobs at? I understand I have to play with it and get used to it and all...
A 50 50 mix. only using the 2 main ones. Bleach tank and water tank. Do I set each nob to half? Do I leave both 100 % open?
Welp, thats my question, LOL!

A 50/50 mix is wherever the dials are set equally. Both full open would be a 50/50 mix. Playing with the mix proportioner is part of the fun. The hose lengths are supposed to be equal in a "proper" setup. Mine aren't even close to equal,...they don't have to be,..just adjust as needed. I don't pay much attention to the numbers on the dial anyhow,...more of the position.
*I only use the actual metering valve on the bleach side,..I do like it's ability to be very sensitive on how much SH is flowing.
The water I turn on full and adjust the SH valve. The soap valve is nothing but a 1/4" PVC valve that I turn to open just a crack.

Mike if the water it on Full, Put the S/H valve at half. Go from there.

Sounds good guys! Leave water fully open, just adjust the bleach tank (start it around half way), and just crack the soap a little. Thanks!

Exactly what art said
Next one I make will be 1/4" hose for soap and not 3/8". The 3/8 flows too much and I literally only open the soap valve 1/8 of an inch.

I've made two, and after finding this, I quit. The parts are around $300.00 and then there's the time and time is money. This is affordable.

I did that too...eventually went to just adding my soap to my bleach...wasnt worth the hassle of having the soap valve

I put it all together today and tried it out. I'm finding out the same thing about the soap. I've only got half hour into this and barely had the soap valve cracked. Too much soap? This is coming from a guy that has been bleach and water for a few years now, lol. How much is the right amount, lol?
Pic included of where I placed it on the trailer. Should have this figured out, and fine tuned soon. Thanks for the help with the initial settings for the metering system. Was on point!

You dont need a ton of soap in most cases. Too much will be a PITA to rinse on houses. In steep roofs I bump it up.
I have 1/2" valve w 3/8 line. Pinalen is a little on the thin side and I just crack the valve open. With a thicker soap inwould prob have to crack it a lil more.
