Experiment time. After doing more research on Sodium Carbonate,..I think I may try to use this in a house wash. It is what Cascade main ingredient is. So it should cut bug crap and dirt,..and "should" leave the windows acceptable? Recommended mix it seems is around 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. I figure to mix it at 8OZ. per gallon to use in my soap tank. (That is part of the injection,.so it doesn't go on at that strength) I figure to just dump a 55OZ. box of Arm & Hammer Washing Soda into a 5 gallon bucket. Approximately $1.00 per gallon once mixed. I will color it with food coloring to make it pretty,.Ha, Ha,..
I do like a little suds,.but it isn't necessary,..I used Hypochlorite and Hydroxide for years as my house wash soap. And maybe after initial experimenting I will maybe add some suds of some type,..just for visual.
After writing that,..I may try it with Hydroxide as well?

Every year the scientist gets to work! I always look forward to your newly found ways to get things done. I'll be looking forward to how this works! Pictures are always appreciated!

Ha,.Ha,..Hey Brett,...yea,..I like to play sometimes. The regular ways gets old,..even though they work,..I like to play around a little,...but not to the detriment of my work,.Some ideas works,..some don't. The ones that work are sometimes a huge advancement.
These are just soaps afterall,..and if I can save 50% or more on cost,..it's worth a try.

The Sodium Carbonate mix didn't "work" as well as I'd liked. Although I'm not a huge soapy soap fan,..I do like some light suds for a little cling. I'll be sticking with Arts Pinalen. It cleaned the same as Pinalen,.just as Hydroxide used as soap will clean like crazy,...but I got used to some suds.
I do think if it mattered,..adding some Sodium Carbonate or Hydroxide to Pinalen would make for a more aggressive cleaner,..just not sure it's needed,..maybe on occasion,..but not generally. I try not to overthink things,..but sometimes get carried away with "new and improved" Ha, Ha,..
