Roof Soft Wash / Pressure Cleaning Check List of Equipment

Here's an old list that was posted in the past that I fall back on from time to time and I thought I'd re-post it for guys up north that are going to re-supply their rigs and toolboxes for next year. Also for the guys that go all year long to check their current supplies. Add to the list if you can think of anything else.

Supply List for Rig/ Tool Box:

Silicone spray is crucial for me for unjamming quick connects or stuck chem injector. Heat proof grease works well as a preventative and keeps things well lubed.

Emory cloth for when quick connects just can’t seem to lock when the tip swells (or for whatever other reason). I use the Emory to aggressively clean the nozzles until it fits and the quick connect locks.

A crowbar to hold your ladder in place when it is at too large of an angle

A spare pump

Hose repair ends
Pump and engine oil
A dental pic for changing o rings
A drill, some various gutter and flashing screws, roofing nails and white trim nails
Extra valves and gun assemblies, extra tips
rope
a spare draw tube hooked up to a 6ft. piece of hose with an end to fit the spare pump
Spare trailer tire
pneumatic jack
4 way lug wrench
blow gun, air gun
roof tar, and caulk gun
buckets
road cones
MSDS and hazard sheet for SH within arms reach of the driver per DOT federal standards
respirator (w/ extra filters)
2 crescents
1 large channel lock
1 pliers
1 set of screwdrivers (various sizes and shapes including hex, star, torx, etc)
1 sockets set (large, SAE and Metric)
1 hammer
Teflon tape/"chemical resistant pipe dope
duct tape
hose clamps
Fittings to fix hoses
various Viton seals and O rings
manual tank syphon pump
battery powered drill
fuse
WD-40
fire extinguisher
small VICE mounted for field repairs
Carry a few faucet handles. Work for absentee owners have a habit of removing the handles when they leave.

PVC Cutters...great for cutting any type of hose...especially those that start leaking right at the clamp

I carry small butane tortch with pinch claps and pinch plyers.  These are same clamps and plyers that landscapers use and makes for a quick repair when a hose or fitting breaks.

Brian, funny you mentioned those. I have been thinking about trying them out. Looks pretty clean compared to the screw clamps that the ends snag on just about everything possible including your skin.
