SH eats filter
Permalink

I installed a filter in my system earlier this year. Then recently I noticed the pressure of the Devalan FB was lower than normal. I inspected the filter to see if it was clogged. You can say it was more than clogged. Referring to the photo the SH severely deteriorated it impeding flow. When I got the filter I knew better that it must be stainless steel but was not thinking. Right now I'm just running without a filter. Lesson learned...

Do you guys think this strainer would work. It's part number 3350-32 and 3350-69.

Hank, the end line strainer looks like the one I originally had that was included in the system I purchased from Pressure Tek. It was stainless steel and held up well. But I no longer use a drop tube.

Dave,

The 8" strainer is the one I'm referring to. It had a 80 mesh plastic screen. I'm on a slate roof cleaning job and I don't have the catalog in front of me. I use the one from Bob's kit.

Hank

Back home now so I added the info in photos.

All of my tank pick up tubes have 1/8" holes drilled in them. The pump has a SS wire filter with a site glass.
