Patrick, I do all my cedar work with SH and Green Wash. Now I'm starting to put a bit of Terra Wash in my mixes when I do cedar and the color comes out beautifully. We do a Bleach Wash rinse afterward to neutralize the bleaching.

That's the one. We use Bleach Wash on vinyl siding, metal and wood surfaces. Does a great job of neutralizing. The bleaching process has to be halted to prevent "whitening" or over bleaching. If you do not use a neutralizer, the silver color returns very quickly afterward.

For a 100 gallon mix, I use 20 gallons SH, 80 gallons water, 1 gallon GW, 64 oz. Terra Wash. Spray sections of the roof at a time, don't get too far ahead. Let dwell about 15 minutes or until color is right where you want it. Neutralize with Bleach wash using a Gilmour hose-end sprayer out of the rinse hose, then we do a final rinse with clear water.

We did this cedar roof - (14,000 sq. ft) in 2 days and 3 hours with 2 guys.
