Art, I know nothing about that hose reel. I bought one of these four years ago and the only thing I have replaced is the manifold. It has held up well, the Liberty Co. is easy to order parts from and it holds 300' of 1/2 poly braided. I just ordered another for my garden hose and it's less expensive than what I paid in '10. They also have SS.

With Delevan 12 volt pumps I would use a maximum of 200' of 1/2" hose, which should fit these reel with no problem.

I need a reel with a narrow foot print. I don't have a lot of room where I need to put it. The 5/8 reel is 4" narrower then the 1/2 reel.

Art, Hannay are probobly the best reels you can get. I have one that I purchased off an old ag sprayer system, it was used quite a bit and I have had it 3 years....sprayed nothing but bleach through it, rinsed everytime, and its still holding up. I have no idea how hold it is but I know its the original manifold and swivel. I may just buy a couple of those too.

The Liberty is the reel I used last year. I replaced the manifold with a stainless T before I 1st used it and I didnt have a problem with it at all, it worked well.

I'm thinking about buying this hose reel. Is it any good? It has a smaller foot print compaired to the 1/2". I'm hoping to get 250' of 1/2" hose on it.
