Looks like we opened the door on our first Condo complex.  They want us to start with dryer vent cleaning.

not what we were looking for but we offer it with our furnace duct cleaning.

long story short. ALL the vents exsit the roof and they are all 2 story.

what type of rope are yall using to tie off with.  I have read good and bad on about all of them. Nylon , Polypropylene ect.

Just courius what type and size yall use.

I've just used whatever came with the fall protection kit. Polyester or Nylon usually. Something durable because you want the rope grab to work correctly.

I had a 200 ft cut to length so i can throw it over both sides and tie off then use a rope brake in the middle.

How are you tying that off, Eric?  Are you able to do that without installing anchors?

I think its 5/8 and synthetic. It was costly because of the 200ft.

HA! Keys out.  Another application of "lock out, tag out"

I had one of my roofers tell me he was gonna tie off to a cinder block once for a 12/12 roof we were replacing.  Glad he told me what he was thinking! I asked him, "how much do you weigh, and how much do you think that block weighs?"

Take the keys out of the ignition and put them in your pocket! Now there is something I haven't thought of but is a great idea. Stupid things can happen.

I'm going to add a second harness this year so once it's adjusted they will have their own. There is a lot of time wasted getting a harness set up for another person. I found out the hard way when the guy who wore the harness went on to new pastures and I had to fill in.
