Well I'm located in Northern VA but our plant is in Melbourne, Florida. My name is Mike Kornell and I'm a partner in a direct ship manufacturing company. Brett Thompson suggested I check out the forum and I'm glad I did! Although our company has been around for about 25 years, I've been in the business for 15 years. We primarily focus on masonry and concrete issues, such as waterproofing, efflorescence, red clay stains etc.
Please feel free to call (or email) me to discuss any masonry/concrete problems. We are big on customer support and I promise not to hard pitch you too much!
Mike

I personally feel that a great way to "soft sell" is just being informative. Pop in once a month or so and make a blog style post, with pictures, that let us know how to not only handle a problem but why the problem occurred in the first place.
I think all of us just want to learn and to do the best we can for our clients. Teach us something and we will follow.....:}
Efflorescence is a great place to start. I know I would buy a product that worked!
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. That's a great idea Doug. Since I talk with a good many applicators around the country, I do get to know their experiences with different cleaning methodologies and efflorescence is a key topic. Since efflorescence comes in various forms there isn't a one solution fits all scenario. I'll discuss that in the blog type post.

Welcome Mike! Very interested in your red clay solution. All our dirt in Hawaii is red dirt from the high iron content from the volcano's. It stains everything so if you have a solution that works I'm all ears.
Hi Michael - I used to have a distributor/applicator a good many years ago (until he moved to Mexico) named Chauncey Camara of Turbo Tech. He also lived on Oahu and purchased a lot of Red Clay Stain Remover. Do you know him? I'll PM you some FED EX freight quotes for a few different sized sample purchases.

It's magic Pinky! I keep no less than a gallon on hand along with their rust stain remover. We had and "emergency" call from Ryan Homes last month to get the mud stains out of the garage floor. No one has a recovery system and no one knows about the red clay remover. Oh... we do! Of course, they tried all sorts of things themselves.
