It's horrible. We're over an hour from the fires, but my inlaws are closer. All of Gatlinburg is evacuated which is crazy to imagine. Hundreds of homes an businesses lost and some popular resorts. We've been getting most of our info from the news like everyone else since they are asking those in the area to stay off their cell phones except for emergencies.

Here's a crazy video of a guy trying to escape last night. Coming down the mountain with fire everywhere. Really scary.

Lots of churches/nonprofits/stores, etc. collecting supplies for the evacuees and gatorade/water/protein bars for the firefighters. People stepping up like neighbors should.

Forecast is rain all day tomorrow and there are still 14 fires burning...praying for lots of rain.
