Hey Marco,..Nice space saving idea! BUT,..PAINT THAT DARN THING!!! Ha,Ha,.. Paint is a wonderful thing and will not only look finished,.but will also protect the wood and the metal brackets!!!!

(Not really shouting at you), but if you were around years ago you'd know that I'm a big believer in painting things,..I paint everything,.. tools, PVC fittings, hose clamps, (Even the stainless ones),..tool box latches, etc, etc...

Agree! I even buy galvanized paint and paint a new stand off. It keeps the rust away much longer.
