I got this alert and thought I would post it just in case. It's pretty easy to get hit by one of these people who think working for a living means stealing from those who actually work hard for their money. I had a close call last year so hopefully this will help someone. One of the big things you DON'T want to do is open any attachment to any email that looks like it comes from FedX, UPS or USPS.

Those are bad... one made the rounds big time several years back... supposedly made millions off of it. I read about hospitals and schools being affected... once it hit one, it would spread through the entire network. I used to do a little computer repair, and I had one business where it got on one computer. Every file on the PC was gibberish, thankfully it wasn't critical so i just erased it and reloaded. No idea why it didnt spread, because that computer was on the network... they got really lucky.

Good reminder to backup your PC and phone data, and to set up a regular back up plan.
