Surface Cleaner Wheel Setup

Hello all,

I'm interested in thoughts on the best wheel set up for a larger surface cleaner. I am buying a 28" SC and was assuming I would get the two larger rubber tires in the back and a single swivel caster in the front. I am wondering if using 3 or 4 swivel casters would be better? Thanks for any input.

We added a 28" three wheel Mit-M this year because it was used and I got it for way less than half price. I wasn't sure if I would like it but used it on a big project two weeks ago and was happy with the way it operates. Pretty much stays straight.

We also have a Mosmatic on four caster that came with the recovery system. It works well and maneuvers better in smaller areas.

Thanks Brett,
I am in the UK at the moment and all of the grocery store carts are on 4 swivel casters which seems pretty silly. I think I am gonna go for the two larger tires in the back on the 28"SC.

I'm with you on the grocery carts with four swivels. A bit hard to drive sideways.

Granted,I’ve never tried to maneuver one that large, but i move my 19” classic side-to-side all the time.
