Here is a picture of my remote DS with proportioner. That is a 2 GPM 12V feeding 10 GPM PW,..pulls SH/ and soap separately,..no real setting just wide open on SH with the soap cracked,...Even with 10 GPM makes a solution that will smoke typical black and green algae on siding. The valve you see next to the hose real is for starting engine without the unloader wanting to load up,...start with valve open,..engine turns easily and then simply shut it,....and try to remember to shut it,..sucks walking back from '150 away to do it.
That's interesting Jeff. I get the pump and what you're doing but seeing the whole thing would be a bit more helpful. I remember you talking about this last year.

If I knew how to add notations or whatever to depict each component I would,..and I'm sure would be a great help to anyone interested.
Yes, I did mention it before,..this was my first season using it,...and the proportioner allows me to use the same soap tank and SH tank for DS'ing. Works very well.

Another point about this setup: I run these pumps direct,..I don't use the pressure switch,.no need to considering it turns on and off with the solenoid via remote. Bypassing the switch allows for max GPM and also removes another element for a potential issue.
I once hooked up my AODD pump to the injector just to see how much concentration I could get,..but it wasn't much different than the 2 GPM,...must be due to the fact that the injector can only allow so much chemica through. 2 GPM was a major upgrade though from the 1 GPM I was using.

Brett,..I am doing both,..the SH/Soap comes from separate tanks,..goes through proportioner through solenoid, ..to pump which then force feeds the injector.
Imagine it being the same as the regular proportioner without the water valve,..(2) separate tanks, SH/Soap..when it comes out of the pump it goes into the injector..then it forces approximately 2 GPM into the HP line,..and makes a very strong DS solution,..from approximately 50 PSI- 600 PSI soap.
The proportioner is simply saving from having a premixed DS tank,..I use same tanks for roof cleaning with other regular size proportioner that is not in the picture.
Then yes,..it's just shoving the solution into the injector,..same as DS'ing except with added benefit of being able to run high GPM and have plenty of percentage,..and is all on the same remote channel.

One other thing here is: If this were done with a lower GPM machine like 4 GPM,..it would likely be strong enough for roof cleaning? I don't have any smaller units to experiment with. But it stands to reason,..the percentage would be much greater due to less water in the stream. And if it were done with a smaller machine, then proportioner could be used effectively to lower the percentage for house washing.
To refresh anyones memory as the reasoning behind this: Started with wanting to rinse with low PSI while DS'ing,...Being able to rinse at low PSI was started with the solenoid in the soap pick up line and was remotely controlled,..when it is off, allows for the use of soap nozzles for rinsing because it stops the draw. The pump is inline to make an 8-10 GPM PW be able to downstream,..because with just a soap injector,..higher GPM is basically useless,..(Although when I ran 8 GPM,..DS'ing was kinda' possible) I added and used the proportioner this past season to simply eliminate the premixed soap bucket.
This is a fairly stout system,..replaced pump once and solenoid once,..proportioner valves are just 1/4" PVC and are the same ones I started with,..the 'T" coming off the solenoid did crack in about September,..but these are all the cost of doing business,..and making life a whole lot easier.
