I have gotten myself in a predicament..

 

I moved into a new house. I'm being told that I can not take my old phone number with me the one I have used for business the last 9 years.  It has something to do with 911 service but whatever the reason I still cant take it. 

 

What options do I have? How can I keep the same number?

https://www.nextiva.com/ I have it and its cheap. You buy as phone phone from them or you can buy your own and plug it into the computer. I put it on call forwarding to my cell. Works great with no problems. Its about $29 a month. Half of what I was paying Verizon
