Man,,...I LOVE LOVE LOVE house washing in the rain!!! The kind of rain that pours a waterfall off the brim of your hat!!! Anyone not washing in the rain is missing out on the best conditions for house washing,...even decks and concrete can be done in the rain,..although I do like to use detergents on decks and concrete,..some rain doesn't hurt and is even beneficial.

The only people who will work in the rain are owner/operators. Employees melt!

That's CRAZY!!   What the heck do people have against working in the rain!! Seriously,..it is soooo much nicer working in the rain,...They must just be stupid. Soap stays wet,..you stay cooler,..etc, etc,... I'll take the rain all everyday on house washing. Decks and concrete also,..just can't be a wash out. But house washing,..let it frickin' pour!!

I've actually never had anyone ask me not to wash their house on a rainy day. But I have had people sound surprised that I will do it in the rain. Once you explain,... they "get it",.... I remember someone on one of these boards say that if there's even a 30% chance of rain they called off work for the day,..Ha, Ha,..

*The only time rain isn't necessarily beneficial is during the cooler Spring and Fall months,...Sometimes you need the warmth from Sun to help with the cleaning,..especially gutters. All Summer long though,..I do rain dances before work everyday!!

As we all know, it's a different mind set to own and operate a business. To cancel the day, only the morning the work is to be done it takes high wind, constant rain. I will not touch a roof even if it's misting. I did that once and ended up back there with so many touch ups it was like I was cleaning again.
