So I had a lady call the other day that had a nightmare experience with a “top rated” pressure washing company. She had the house and deck washed. She said the house is still dirty and her deck looks horrible. Apparently they washed the house first and then did the deck blasting all the dirt and wood fibers all over the house. She sent me pictures wondering if I could come fix what they did. After looking at the pictures it looks like they used a Home Depot surface cleaner and bleached the crap out of it. The deck looks destroyed. She said the guys showed up in a Honda CRV with a little trailer and had no lettering or shirts. She was actually scared by their looks. After seeing the results she called the owner and he said that those guys were subs that he sends out. She paid, but after I told her to call to have them come back to make it right they refunded her the money. Now she’s stuck with with a dirty house and messed up deck.
I got a call from a homeowner last year asking to fix his vinyl siding. I have never seen anything like this. I think the guy used roof mix to wash the new siding and didn't rinse. Brown drips all over the house. I refused to get involved. This guy was also top rated local pro. One of John T's guy
Too bad there are people out there with zero morals.
Are you helping her to get it right?
I told her I would help clean the house, but I really don’t want to get involved with the deck. She actually called me yesterday telling me that she talked to the owner of the company expressing her displeasure and he offered to pay a floor sanding company to come and sand the deck. She wasn’t sure what to do and I said she should go that route. She will definitely get a better finished product than what I could do with a pressure washer. It would need higher pressure to try to blend that in causing more furring.
Hello, this is a test and only a test, bwahahaha. I'm trying to figure the forum out. Hope all is well.
Great to see you here Chet. Enough of FB huh? I read your bio... "I excel in marketing, presenting the product/service and closing the deal. I figure many know much that I could learn from. So here I am." We are all ears! (Eyes) Start a new thread for all your inside info!

I joined this group back in Oct 2015. WOW, that's before I owned any equipment, but I was committed to making a go of it. I can't remember what group it was (maybe this one), but someone told me that he started at an older age than me, and that was the shot in the am I needed. I wish I remembered who it was so I could thank him. Bitter-sweet times followed, I got wrapped up in a group that was too poorly run to my liking, while meeting tons of people through it. Things have certainly changed since that time. I've met some wonderful people. Met you in New Orleans, and a great time it was. Looking forward to a solid 2022. Thanks for your friendship.
