When I first started I used other products to lubricate my QC and some still failed. Then I tried Magic Lube. Great product and no failures over two years. A dab will do ya. I use these types of clamps on all my hoses. They are easy to use ,strong, clamp down tighter than those clamps. These pinch clamps are used in irrigation but come in all different sizes 1/2 " to 1-1/2". I like to keep them in my tool box for quick fixes . Also when dealing with vacuum rated hose i...
We carry several extension poles on the pick up truck all the time. I've avoided having my guys or myself stepping on extension poles in the bed of the trucks by building a 4" pvc storage tube. It's mounted on the side of the ladder rack and it works like a charm. Took me 20 minutes to put together and...
Blew an engine in 2003 F150 this week. It's one of my service trucks. Bought it at government auction in May so got six months and 25,000 miles out of it, now has 165,000 miles on it .Paid 3400 for it then, and have spent nothing on it. It's my "undercover truck" that is not wrapped like the oth...

How are you guys winterizing your pumps. Some guys use wind Shield washer fluid others RV antifreeze or do you just blow out the pump and line with air. I was in West Marine and they have boat anti freeze for pumps that looks good.
I had a few guys ask me for this wiring diagram over the years. I didn't come up with it, a friend hooked me up with. It eliminates the blown relay issue with the Fat Boy pump. I haven't used this set up the last two years because I switched to the Pentaflex pump, but when I did use it, I never had a relay issue ag...
Does anyone have a picture of a split roof boot on a vent pipe through the roof. I have one but the quality isn't that good. I need to add it to my website.
I'm building a portable spray rig for F9. What size pump would work best. I'm thinking 1 or 2 GPM and 40 PSI. What would work best for spraying side walks. Do I need more GPM or Less? The tank will hold about 10 Gallons of mix.
This winter I would like to add a Soap injector to my Roof pump. Would a regular soap injector work like on a power washer. Maybe one of the adjustable one's. I could also put a cut off valve in the line. What do you guys think?
Found these today at Harbor Frieght Tools. Charcoal filter respirator, with a neoprene full face wrap. Very comfortable, seals out vapors better than traditional cheap masks. Think they were on sale for $15. Comes with sealable storage bag to extend life of charcoal media.

Art sent me a sample of some affordable solution from a big box store but unfortunately I can't get it here in Tallahassee. I found this (big box store) and have been getting awesome results. It's not as concentrated as Lemon-Aid or Green Apple from Floromask but if your in a pinch and need to take the edg...
Here's an old list that was posted in the past that I fall back on from time to time and I thought I'd re-post it for guys up north that are going to re-supply their rigs and toolboxes for next year. Also for the guys that go all year long to check their current supplies. Add to the list if you can think of any...
I just made this up today. Winter is getting close. Make sure to glue the parts like I didn't. First I blow the pump out, Then fill the tube with RV fluid and give it a quick blast.
