I had a few guys ask me for this wiring diagram over the years. I didn't come up with it, a friend hooked me up with. It eliminates the blown relay issue with the Fat Boy pump.

I haven't used this set up the last two years because I switched to the Pentaflex pump, but when I did use it, I never had a relay issue again. Between this solenoid and the accumulator tank I was able to use #20 spray nozzles with no problems.

 

The relay is a Duralast Gold starter relay #F492G I get them at Auto Zone

I hope it helps someone as it did me.

That looks like a slyanoid rather tan a relay. They are used for snow plows. Nice idea Barry thanks

It's labeled as a vehicle starter solenoid/relay.
