Power Washing and Roof Cleaning Forum

I had passed a home in my neighborhood everyday with a dirty roof. I put a few cards in the mailbox over like two years and one day I noticed it was clean. I could'nt believe it, I had to stop and talk to the homeowner and ask why. I knocked at the door and introduced myself,I told him I noticed he had his roof cleaned. I told him I was trying to improve my small business and was just wondering why he didn't contact me for the roof cleaning, was it because my cards were annoying? He was a pretty cool guy and said he had a guy here doing other work around the house and decided to let him power wash it. I was like noooooooo you power washed it? Well that was about 15 months ago maybe 13 but anyway guess what?........ There they are two beauitful black streaks running side by side right down the roof. Now I knew it was only a matter of time,and I know in three more months that roof will be almost in full bloom. I wonder what type of guarantee he got? Probably none. i am sure the guy got a good buck to do it,probably more then I would have charged. The big differance is his roof would still be spotless and for atleast two more years!
