Check this out guys! My Delavan 5850 is 2 years old and amazingly still kicking after quite a few soft wash roof cleanings and house washes. I push 5 gallans of soapy water than 5 gallons of fresh water after every use. Although it's starting to act up when I'm on the peak of a roof, I'm still amazed it's still pushing the mix. I have a backup that has been waiting for action over a year ago but this sucker just won't give in!

Ray,

Are you still using a 3/4" on the inlet side? We are starting to slow down up here and I'm planing some R&D with my 5850's this week. Yes, I'm still using 1/2" on the inlet and outlet sides.

That's correct Hank. I'm using 3/4" inlet side of the pump and have switched to 225' of 1/2" on the outlet side. I used to use 5/8" on the outlet side and have noticed I get a little less distance now.
