This home located in the Pine Tip Hills neighborhood in Tallahassee Florida had a very severe infestation of Gleocapsa Magma on the roof. The homeowners had priced out a new roof which came in north of $15,000, which they were considering paying to help their home's curb appeal.  In desperation they called Spray Wash Exterior Cleaning, and we were able provide them with a roof cleaning service, rather than a roof replacement, at only a fraction of the cost of a new roof!  This also had environmentally friendly bonuses too: no perfectly healthy shingles were ripped off the house and left in a landfill, no hard chemicals with heavy metal (such as copper sulfate) were introduced into the soil, and we killed millions of algae, mildew and mold cells and spores!

The steep pitch necessitated cleaning from a ladder at the gutter line. We did not need to access this "unwalkable" roof. We also provided the customer with a softwash of the whole house, including patio, lanai, and the exterior walls.
