Hi guys, I want to order some stainless quick disconnects to go with the kuritec kit I use from bob at pressure tek. Our hose is the yellow 1/2". What size couplers do i order ? I tried calling but they're closed on the weekend and I would like to get this ordered today

Thanks in advance

The connectors that come on the Kurit-Tecs are 1/2 MPT.  I think you're looking for this, but in stainless.

Bob ships the same day if you call him before 2:00, so if you order today online or Monday via phone (after confirming with Bob), it will still ship the same day.  What are you trying to accomplish, avoiding the use of a swivel on a hose real?

After looking at mike kreiseles videos on you tube. I really like the idea of being able to quickly change out the gun or ball valves. Also having a coupler on the gun end of the 200' of hose will be more manageable. it will let the hose spin freely while up on the ladder instead of spinning the gun to get rid of twists in the hose.

We are currently working without a hose reel. (total PITA) having coupler will also help winding the hose up after each job.

Don't by SS. Buy the Hanson Brass from PT. If you clean a lot of roofs you'll be swapping out tha QC once/month. Nothing will save it.

I have been using this hose reel for 4 years. I have 300' of 1/2" poly braided hose. I replaced the galvanized T with schedule 80 plastic and have replaced the brass fitting once and keep an extra on hand. When I bought it the price was about 20.00 cheaper. This is the best price I could find this morning.

It will be a matter of choice...wheels or no wheels. Depends on his setup.

Are you running chemical through this one? If so then I think ill buy 2. One for water hose and one for chemical hose.

I was going to order a Cox reel tomm when I talk to bob about some other stuff but i can get 2 of these for the price of one Cox  .   .   .  thoughts?

Yes I am. That's why I changed the galvanized T. I would recommend ordering two extra brass fittings from Liberty. Mine when out last year... three years, not bad. I have been real happy with this reel. A big part of it lasting is everything get's rinsed well. I also spray rust inhibitor on pretty much everything I have that is metal.

I went to Home Depot and it says it is the #703...

Eric this is a good find. I just invested quite a bit more in another bright shiny Titan hose reel. I need a couple more for our new rig, and I just don't need two more bright shiny ones, so this may be the ticket.

How can I tell when I look at the reel if it is the heavier version you have been using? the website said it was the #703...

I'm sure you can get them around here. They are widely used in industry.
I believe I got them from JMEsales, looking for recipt now as I need more

http://www.jmesales.com/product/34-polypropylene-cam-lever-couplings,5911,7170.htm

I use 5/8 hose but ordered 3/4 couplers so interion diameter was the same.

Had to heat up end of hose to make soft enough to get on. These are used in agriculture the oil industry ad anywhere chems are involved to give a failproof seal.
