Just bought a new pump

Ive been concerned about leaving for a roof clean with only one 3/4 Aodd pump. I needed a back up. Just received the Gen 2 from PowerWash Store. Thoughts are for jobs further from home I could load less equipment in the truck and take off without the trailer. I have not tested it yet

Andy, that's good thinking. Plus, I getting so sick of pulling a trailer. I can just about watch the gas gauge move!

I hope so. It could be pump or air issues with my current set up. Hate spending the money but if it last it won't be a problem

I think the opposite....the further from home the more equipment we take.  I want to have the back up to the back up in case anything goes wrong we can still finish.  jobs coder to home we take only the truck w the skid mounted unit. But you will love not having to haul a trailer no mater how you do it.

Hated hauling a trailer, but i agree with Doug and i bring more chem, extra everything when i go further away from home. And having back ups is a must. I run allflo but have fatboy as a back up incase allflo or compressor fails. I aslo keep fatboy back up a transfer pump back up and a allflo back up. I hate break downs but i hate having to come home early because i don't have enough to fix the break downs.

I would only pull a trailer if it were a commercial flatwork trailer designated for that type of work. We have everything we need on the back of the truck and I will never pull a trailer again!

I am with you Zach. We do pull a trailer for most commercial work, but never need it for residential.

I always take with me a spare pump, a few critical spare parts and hand tools just in case something does give out. Especially for long distances. Also for long distances I bring extra solution just in case.

No trailer for me! Skid unit all the way. Commerical we use the box truck. I have back up systems for everything in box truck and skid unit. On my skid unit I can spray water or chemical with my Udor, chemical or water with the back up 12V and A 8GPM HydroTek. I'm working on getting an All Flo and compressor on there too and just use the 12 for transfers.

I hate trailers and have been swearing to get off of them for three years now.

When I started...I was all about bigger-better, now I'm more about smaller-faster

I put 250 gallons of roof mix through the pump today. The roofs cleaned were not steep so distance was not an issue. It worked very well!
