I'd join the BBB accreditation before looking there. About the only way people would even know about the "seal" is if they seen it on your website. I get a huge ROI on my BBB listing and many tell me they checked BBB before calling. You might get some validation from the "seal" but you'll get work + validation from the BBB.

I have mixed feelings on the BBB.......As a business person I think BBB Accreditation has value because the people believe in the BBB. As a person who has filed a complaint with the BBB I have no respect for the organization or the way they handle things.

In fact, the business I filed a complaint against just laughed when I said I was going to report them. They had been reported so many times already and since the BBB had no teeth it meant nothing to them. The BBB rep also laughed. He told me they had so many complaints they basically were just taking names. That was many years ago and well before my Uncle, AL Gore, invented the internet :)

Maybe it's better now because more people research businesses on Uncle Al's system.

The BBB is one of those things that have been proven to be a pay for ratings scam. Might have started off with a good intent but money has ruined it. I won't ever waste money on the BBB again.

That has been my impression and why I have hesitated to pay up thus far. I spoke with a BBB rep and didn't really get a good feel. It seemed like they were just interested in my money for the privilege of having my company name in their listing.
