Is that over and above the normal fees they charge? I had one of their sales persons contact me earlier this year and they were too aggressive for my liking. Perhaps it was just that individual person.

I have four reviews (all positive) on Angie's List. This is a free listing that I signed up for earlier this year. They will only push the paid advertising. Mike from Gutterdog fame seems satisfied with them.

Angies list is constantly calling me to do a deal...no thanks their cut to high. I read on Angies list a guy from around here were it was like any roof $300....removal of black streaks extra..I cracked up. Very slow here but I keep the prices up there....let some other fool risk it for cheaper. I think a lot of it may be the economy, not just low ballers. I gave an estimate last week to a 73 year old retired guy, retired from same job as me. I said look because of that I am taking about $150- $200 off I'll do it for $500 even { Entire victorian two seperate garage roofs } He calls me the next day he has an estimate for $ 450...can I match that. I'm like "if you can get that for 450 take it, but I think he power washes " He tells me he's gonna call and ask the guy if does. He calls me a couple of days later saying the other guy won't call him back so go ahead and schedule him. Now I'm like F you! He wont call back because he knows he is way to low for that job.....Now I'm like screw you, I was doing you a favor and you try to talk me down? Now go screw yourself!

The calls are pouring in now and I have a nice back log. Unfortunately I now have to deal with the rainy, winding cool weather which makes it a challenge!
