"$99 for 2000 sqft." Most of us but not all get about $350 for that house here in the NE. Then theres Ned who gets $200 with his kids with the pump up sprayer and a garden hose. All they are doing is draging us all down.

The first image is....well....confusing. Am I getting the outside clean.....or the carpets cleaned....or both?

I hear ya Ray.....those ads are just stupid but the consumer believes what they see. I guess I too would do a whole house wash for $299 using just water.....Oh, I'm sorry.....did you want soap with that wash?

They've got nothing on you and if they fill the void in the bottom of the market then good luck to them.

The discerning owner who cares about his home will know who to use.

Frustrating that these guys don't realise they are cutting their own throats and bastardising the market when they simply don't have too.

cheap is no good it breaks or fails , my old mother says , people are always suspicious now to what they get for these cheap deals its the hidden add ons that they worry about ,
driveway wash last week we cleaned the gutters out for 80 a guy has leafleted the job for 30 quid any house depending on growths , so the wee wifey was worried he would end up wanting more for these add ons , well i re assured her he would and he would not be insured at those prices he would not do a visual check and a down pipe check with a water test also to check the flow .
which we do 80 in the back pocket ten mins later .
i also advice the same wee wifey that her wet ridge tiles were needing fixed or replaced with a dry ridge set up , priced it for her , her son the architect has agreed and he is now getting prices for the job also , but the softwash roof clean will be after that is done , cheap guy does'nt give roof reports , her son was impressed i didn't just wash the roof and leave the wifey to her own merits to fix ,after a had scooped the cash , he has got a job for me to wash for him .

Our customer base does not use those type of ad mags for their purchasing decisions. We have never advertised in one of them yet, and I don't see it happening anytime soon.

Real good Real cheap is not a viable business model.

I am reminded of the carpet cleaning company who tried to be the elite service they had always been in their market, but decided to capture the price shopper too. The problem was the guys forgot which uniform they had on and the hard earned reputation as the elite provider suffered.
