A hip roof, gutters all the way around. I would have told him 200.00 if it was single story and 250.00 since it's 2 story. You are right... gutter cleaning sucks. I only use it to keep the guys busy as it gets colder in hopes of adding on more work when spring comes. It was here that Mike started a gutter cleaning post and since reading that, my bottom line now is 150.00. If that is too much then call the kid down the street or hire the red neck that goes door to door, got pissed at us for coming to a house we were called to clean the gutters and called my helper the big N word. There ya go...  gutter cleaning at it's finest!

$125.00 would have been my price....as an add on to other services. My 2 story minimum is $250.00 and I don't care if wraps around house or 6 feet over one door.

We try not to do them, unless we are there for other services.

I picked up about 7 solid leads for the Spring. It helps get the season going!  It's just like canvassing only you get paid while your there

Had a call in November during our big snow storm for a clean out. Said I come highly recommended. Gave him my price, and told him we would need to wait for the snow to melt, and for it to warm up above freezing before we could clean the gutters. Well, he decided to get it done cheaper, and before it got above freezing. When I called him to let him know we can come out and take care of the gutters he told me this. Funny thing is, everything I told him that would happen if the gutters are cleaned when they are frozen happened, and then some. Turns out the company that cleaned them poked holes through the gutters, knocked a section off, and blew a piece of siding off with the pressure washer they were using. He is trying to sue them, but they have no insurance, so he is out of luck. Said he will never use anyone but me from now on.
