One of the guys posted this gun on FaceBook. I bought it for $52, but Northern Tool has it cheaper. When it came I was surprised by it. It looks good but I haven't tested it yet. I think the nozzle may need to be changed out, but not sure. It has the best of both world, Triger and turn off valve. This thing may work better with a 4Banger and a coupler. I will test it after the 2 Ft of snow melts

I was looking at that gun last year wondering if it would work. I'm glad I didn't get it from here. Expensive gun

I am looking forward to hearing about your experiments with this gun.

Have you seen this tip and does anyone use this? Adjustable Nozzle

WOW $186 I paid $52 and could have got it for $32 at Northern tool if I would have looked around. The part I like best about that gun is the crome tube at the end of the gun. I think it my give it some back pressure and help the gun shot further. The tip may have to go and the shut off valve may leak in time. Plus the spray guns don't last! I should be back to the ball valve with in a month.

Brett we keep one of the adjustable nozzle on out trucks. They are great for spraying those areas where you don;t want a lot of splash back, like when standing on a ladder and spraying right around you or areas of walls, roofs etc you want spray as minimal mix as possible. Great tool to have. We use it frequently.

Thanks Doug! It has been added to the 2015 list of needed accessories.

Let's see how well it holds up to a clumsy person like my self that keeps dropping it and it fall from the roof and breaks. I started out with a wand but after it breaking three times I finally replaced it with a simple valve and no problems since then.

The red thing has to go. Like I said add a coupler and a 4banger and it should be good to go for about month!

Art, that gun looks the same as the one I have been using for years now from the Power Wash Store. So far I get more than a year out of them. I order two at a time so there is always a back up. Personally, I think and believe rinsing is a big deal. I set up my truck so rinsing can be done easily. We always rinse 5 gallons unless there is a job close by, then its just enough to go through the pump if there is any travel.

I sent them a email. This is the reply

Hello Oliver,

I saw your note regarding the Turbo Atomizing Spray gun on our site.

shop.randkpump.com/Turbo-Atomizing-Spray-Gun-U26901162.htm

You're correct there is a " Knock Off Version" of this gun on the Northern Tool website.

As I'm sure you know there are many products out there that may look like another more expensive product, but the components and quality are not the same. For instance the original Turbo Gun is imported from Italy and has Stainless Steel & Brass internals. And is rated to 850psi.

The "Knock Off Version" comes from China (Imagine That) and has Aluminum & Plated Steel parts. (These will corrode) And is rated to 250psi.

Now if you're a weekend worrier or someone who doesn't use tools professionally, the cheep gun may be all you'll ever need.

As you'll see from our website we build equipment for professional users and they demand high quality components, that's the reason for the items we choose to sell.

Best Regards,
