I started out using the pvc and found myself breaking the wing handles off repeatedly.

Banjo is the way to go. I tried Brass on some of my equipment this year. I will see how it goe's

I use Banjos, believe they are poly and fully SH reisitant, just need to make sure you get the right seals.
Have 2 100ft hoses seperated and banjos to connect them if needed. no reason to drag 200ft of hose for a 50ft job
