My old(very) Summit Hose reels are starting to show their age. I'm going to have them sand blasted first and was going to paint them. A local shop mentioned powder coating. Unfortunately, they don't have any experience with SH and couldn't tell me if it would hold up. Does anyone have experience with powder coating?

The sand blasting of two Summit 22" hose reels is $35.00. I just got off of the Summit site and it states the new ones are powder coated. Mine are old(very) units and they might have been painted before Summit went to powder coating. I didn't get a price for the actual PC.
