SWAMPED and running 7 days a week at times. But, having revenue breaking days left and right. Off to a great start, but man, it takes it toll on me.

Im pleased. Could be much worse. Rain has been almost every day

7 days is what I meant to type.

We just started working three shifts, seven days a week. We break out the lights at night. Gets hard to see, but I hire a few vampires so that helps. Working on a time machine so I can war time. 

2015 has started off with a bang. We've doubled sales over April 14' and have worked less days and the month is not over yet. In this market April is a hit or miss because the homeowners from NYC, Long Island, Philly and South Jersey have not opened their vacation homes yet. The marketing I did over the winter is paying off.

If you're letting work go in Warren and Sussex counties let me know. I want to be working seven days a week during May. I'm looking at getting a classic car by summer.

My phone is ringing, but I'm still trying to learn the market down here. Over priced still, but starting to zero in on the what the market will give. Once I get it down things will start rolling.

Insane, Like Ray said we are blessed. Cranking out some 30k weeks. Ed, we are ALWAYS hiring...lol we run ads every week. I had a guy trained at lead tech in a week. But we run ads in our local churches, we put flyers out that say we are hiring, craigslist, monster etc, 1 out of 10 are ok. stinks....

Definitely feeling blessed! Things are going great now, but I will be losing my Lead end of May to UNLV.(My Son) Hiring seems to be a common problem among all trades right now. Very sad the direction are country is headed where everyone seems to feel entitled. Had a kid tell me the other day I had to hire him at at least $18 to start or he could go somewhere else... Don't call me when you get there.

 Funniest thing is that kid who was hired as union labor for a whole 5 minutes and was paid $28.50/hr.  Those poor bastards go the rest of their young adult lives thinking that's what they're worth.   Like Colm said, 1 out of 10.  My experience is when you hire guys over 30 years of age it quickly becomes the fault of the employer that they don't make real coin.  Ive had better luck giving younger guys a chance and quickly increasing their salary when they do good.

There is rarely any loyalty.  Most will screw you in a NY minute.  I've become cold and hardened.

Glad to hear everyone is swamped. But this season is off to the worst start ever. I know it has a lot to do with the winter that just pummeled us with snow. I did more jobs last March than I have done this March and April combined. But I know the weather will change and the phone will ring, but it will be hard to match last year's numbers starting off so far behind this year.
