Mine healed up pretty quickly though, Ed! I actually opted for the full Ron face brand on my left ass cheek.

Art, I'm very active and it's one of those things that "it is what you make of it". Much like this board, there's a nice comraderie that goes along with the members. The events are top notch, great speakers, great information, and the opportunity to hang out with some serious heavy hitters in the industry. It's kind of cool to know that if you have a question you can get answers from multiple million plus dollar a year producers. But much like this board, you get much more out of it if you become an active member, not just a Lurking joiner.

Has it helped me? Absolutely! Can I tell you one job that I've gotten because I am a member of the UAMCC? No, honestly I can't. However it has armed me with some knowledge, or at least confirmed what I already thought I knew, which has made me more affective on some of my appointments and it's help me close big deals.

There's plenty of guys that are out there who have nice businesses, providing themselves a good living, and don't really care about growing.and trust me, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. If you're in that category, UAMCC probably isn't right to join.

the UAMCC is going to be the pressure washing industry leader in the future. The environmental committee has already had major impact on laws in California and Texas which almost put our brothers out of business. It's a trade group that is there for the members.

One of the main goals of the UAMCC is to increase professionalism, and also increase consumer awareness about professionalism in the industry. Ron and newly elected President Doug Rucker are making it their goals to get out and talk to industry groups and let them know why it's so important to hire UAMCC certified professionals.

I'll shut up now, but I know there's several members of this board that are also active in the UAMCC. In fact our our Lisa Seitz is on the BOD. I'll let some of the members share their thoughts!

Ray is right about the knowledge and professionalism. Ive gained confidence in areas which made me willing to take on jobs and make money in areas that I might not have if I was not a member.

I'm sure it helps in many area's of our trade. I'm still on the fence with this for now. The one thing that I don't want is to be on one side of the fence or the other. I like being neutral to all the fighting that's going on with all the associations out there. When they can all start working together, then I may sign up. For now I like the idea that Ron thinks I signed up. Now he can work on somebody else and stop braking my chops. Beside I like what we built here. Why do I need to pay $400 to join another forum when we have plenty of infomation right here for free.
