I got a call from a Women about a month ago, Art actually sent her to me. She told me she got a price from Ned Stevens but he cant do it right away could I. Long story short she hounded me for a Quote on the front of a cape even thou I didnt see the roof...I said look you could be any where from 300- to 600. She flipped out...screaming that Ned Stevens price was $200 I said it sounds like a great price go with them.....she kept screaming "Why because I won't pay $ 400? " I had to hang up on her she was a nut job. But Ned Stevens is a franchise correct? And he is already doing roof cleaning pretty cheap. Art sends me all the nuts and cheapo's! He gave me one the other day that was another winner....he weeds out the crap and tells them to call me!

i saw one of their trucks on the turnpike a month ago with a small system in the back. Looked like a twin pump or something from RHG. They are pushing it to existing customers and that is ok with me. Like Ed stated, they do not really offer what we Offer. I have no problem with that kind of competition, because the majority of the jobs they will land, will be the customers looking for the cheap guy anyway. I also think that the more people out talking about softwashing and roof cleaning is actually a good thing. Doesn't really matter if Softwash Systems or someone else trained and introduced them to the business, because they we going to do it either way. I would rather they pitch a similar system to me than something completely different....like NO BLeach roof shamsurface cleaning.

Hmmmm...they called me a couple years ago and we talked a couple times. They wanted to fly me out to train their company on roof cleaning and house washing. I guess they got their training some where else.

They dabbled in pressure washing a few years back, but that faded. I'm thinking their wages are fairly low, I can't see them having employees with high standards for roof cleaning. Roof cleaning ain't gutter cleaning.
