We have never used our ww classic on asphalt but I was curious to find out if anyone has tried it. My driveway is stone so I dont have a test bed to give it a try.

try it on the street.... in front of your most annoying neighbor of course!

I've seen a customers sealed blacktop that had swirl marks on it from someone using a surface cleaner with too much pressure.

We have a quote we are doing this week where the entire property is shaded by tall hemlocks and pines. The house, garage and driveway get absolutely no sun. The roof was replaced five years ago but you would never know it by the amount of infestation. The driveway is carpeted in moss and that is my area of concern. We have done some driveways with moss along the edges. Most times we spray a roof mix and let mother nature do the rest. This customer wants to know if I can clean it off without leaving dead moss.

can always upsell to seal it if it doesn't come out looking good enough, then you can turn up the pressure if needed, its an easy job.

I have used it on y driveway with a little less pressure without swirl marks. The trick is to keep moving.

We just cleaned a synthetic putting green cover with mold and lichen. I started with low pressure and turned it up until I found the sweet spot. I was to see that the surface cleaner didn't do any damage. With this cleaning constant moving is #1. One of my guys pulled the handle and didn't move, though I kept telling them to keep moving. It left a small circle that wasn't too noticeable. I'll post the pictures once I get some office time.

I would spray the asphalt with biocide in preference to bleach, it is designed to kill the moss spores as well as the moss and will not damage the asphalt. I would do it a week or two before to make the cleaning easier. You could advise the customer that this will prevent the pressure washer from pushing the live moss spores deeper into the asphalt.
